Found some bits in sump screen of my 72 T

Hi all, I'm having a problem here, I removed the sump screen and I found a lot of debris including the two big pieces in the pictures below. It all looks plastic, no metal bits at all. Engine is 2.4 from a 1972 911T. Any ideas what these are? Thanks

Looks like parts of the chain guides. These can be accessed through the chain covers. When you get a look in there check your tensioner's. Oil will need to be dumped at lest out of the engine case.

I'm pretty sure he's right about the chain ramps. Might be time for a Carrera tensioner upgrade.

Chain ramps. There are not a lot of plastic parts in the flat six. I would investigate (take chain covers off).

What the others have said - take the engine sheet metal off the front and talk the chain covers off. I think you'll find at least one of them in lots of pieces.

Thanks fo the replies guys. PO mentioned he's had some work done on the tensioners, maybe the debris is from that time (I hope). I can't figure out through where these remainings found the way to the screen though.

Gravity will work them down into the case.
