One deciding factor is if the car is subject to emissions testing.

Fairly easy to remove but you have to plug all the holes, +1 on if you have to do emmissions testing leave the stuff alone.

If the engine is running right, just leave it alone.

The plugs are available, not sure if you can get them from our host (did not look). Be careful in the removal of the air injectors or you might make screw up the threads and have to tap out to a larger size plug (that happened to me on one hole). I used Blue loctite to seal the plug, I think there is a copper washer on the plug too.
HTH and YMMV.

I would say leave it alone.....you will get no power increase with that removed. The only diff is less weight from what you took off. The air injector system injects air in the exhaust cycle to allow the unburnt gasses to have some fresh O2 to combust with in the exhaust. So no power gain to be had. It acts as a pre Catalytic converter.

I have the 6 plug screws with copper washers. I bought them but never used them. $15.00 shipped. Let me know if you're interested.
