machine fuch centers

Two of my five fuchs have the small centers and the rest are large centers, looks like I could machine out the small centers. Has anyone done this before? They are all 911 361 020 wheels. The wheel are all in need of refinishing so a good time to change.

I've never heard of different size centers on Fuchs.

the early style use a smaller three prong center and the later ones are a little larger and use a ring. machining out the area on the wheels where the centers fit, would allow me to use the same center caps.

It would be cheaper to just buy the caps you need. From the outside they are indistingushable.
