Servicing thorttle cable - 1987, Carrera

Greetings.

Does anyone have a photo of the throttle cable end, where it attaches to the throttle linkage armature in the engine bay?

Mine has a simple (and very small) end piece that follows the back part of the throttle armature as it rotates.

Its too skimpy and could be a stuck throttle in the making. I suspect there is something missing at the end piece.

thanks

H2

There is a horseshoe like wire clip that keeps the socket end from falling off the ball. If that's what you want. I suggest you look at the parts book available on line at the Porsche web site.
