Dash replacement options: Porsche Classic, Stoddard etc

I'm looking to fix/replace the cracked dashboard in my '73E.

Porsche Classic announced a repo dash but couldn't find it on their website: Porsche Classic recreates dashboard for historic 911
Has anyone see it in the flesh?

What about the Stoddard one? 1973 Porsche 911 E Coupe/Targa - Dashboard & Steering Column - Page 1

Cheers.

The best one comes from Lakewell in england. You should be able to google it. The others seem to have issues, including the Porsche one.

A guy got one on the Early S forum and found it missing a few details compared to the original. Might check over there....

I do not disbelieve in anything. I start from the premise that everything is true until proved false. Everything is possible.

I purchased one for my 74 from Sunset Imports a few months ago and while it's very nice, it is slightly different from original which I think is a manufacturing mistake. The vinyl cover on ends of the dash pad that meet the door top trim are cut out too far, so when the door is open you can see this mistake. Not sure if all are like that or if the problem has been corrected. I didn't notice it till I had it installed and didn't feel like pulling it back out so will live with it.

Also, it was advertised to include the speaker grill, but mine did not come with one and I had to contact the Porsche NA Rep who, after some back and forth, provided the speaker grill.

+1 for geshahi. I bought one from recently and it's nice. He puts a stitch on the front edge. Although it's not original, I th it looks cool. He also fabricates his own speaker grill. Interestingly, he said if I want the most correct looking dash, he recommended Lakewell.

The Porsche one looks great and comes with the speaker grill. I've sold three of them to customers this year.
