Head temp sensor - is your 1 wire- check!

Thanks: pwd72s,jorgeman and nhromyek
You were all correct! Head temp sensor failed.
However, there were other culprits involved as the cables supplying power to the coil were varying the supply volts 2-9 volts. This will be further investigated plus other suspicious areas. But the main fault was that sensor and it was the dreaded single cable type!.
I would reccomend anyone that has the old type to change this out as it is fairly simple to do (follow tech notes!)and should only take about an hour!.
Take my word for it, it may save you some serious grief in the long run!!!!
Thanks to all others who have helped esp. pelican parts who supplied the parts!(cheap and fast!).

YEAH BEN!!!

MY P-mech told me to do this when I had the clutch replaced.

I noticed mine would backfire a lot when it got warm/hot. Now with the two wire head temp sensor, it does not backfire.

WOOHOO!!

Now you get to have some REAL fun... driving!
