911 1988 Seat Heater trouble

My driver side seat heater has stopped working. The passenger side works fine. The driver side switch feels just like the passenger seat side when pressing it on and off. What are some of the other components to check out?

Heating element (wire) in the seat. Did you check the fuse and relay?

I know where the fuses are under the hood. Where is the relay? Under the seat? I assume it would look like a little black cube? How difficult is it to replace the wire? Would the seat need to be totally redone?
