Euromeister Fuchs -- Feedback?

Thinking about getting a pair, the price is hard to pass up over original 8's. Anyone have any experience, good or bad? No intention of using for the track, pure aethetics.

Thanks,

Rob

I recently installed a set of 9 x16 inch Euromeister Fuchs replicas and i'm quite satisfied...
The only thing i don't like is where it's engraved "Made in China" on the inside
of the wheels... lol I was considering grinding it off

Thanks. Does the finish mimic the factory annodized look?

Chinese parts on a German car? Did you check with Wheel Enhancement for their refinished wheels.

For the same price as W.E., you could buy a second car that has 8s on it.

Yes they are anodized but don't have the 10 coats of clear that the factory Fuchs have....
Actually it makes it easier to polish them as you save a lot of time and energy by not having to remove the clear coat !
I put 9 x16's on the rear of my 89 Coupe and there's a lot of clearance, looks nicer than an
8 inch and they're the same price !
I put the original 7's in the front,although i'm looking for 951 offset 8 inchers !

if your are thinking about getting 7's, you'll be waiting awhile, they are having problems with their clearcoat. 4-8 weeks out.

Can you post pictures, would like to see the 9s and stock 7s together.

The 9s fit without rubbing?

9 inch Euromeister

Here are some shots of my 9 inch rears with 245/45/16's and 7 inch fronts with 225/50/16's.
There are NO rubbing issues whatsoever in the back but the fronts are a little more touchy.I have the 4 corners set at an even two finger gap between tire and fender and that is with the original four shocks which i will be replacing as soon as my order comes in from Pelican... hopefully by the weekend
Afterwards the car will be lowered to "euro specs"

By the way,i received my wheels with no clear coat on them, which was alright by me since i planned on polishing all four wheels anyways.
Unless you want to spend $1500. dollars for two "decent original wheels
the Euromeisters are a good compromise as they look pretty good !

Where do you get that information? 10 coats? Anodize is tough stuff, but I think they just have to do it once.

Or maybe you were kidding. (......)

Got a set and besides the weight difference and "made in china let-down" they are excellent!

Sorry Milt I was kidding, but there is a clear coat on my stock wheels and
it seems pretty thick. Apparently it's a real pain in the butt to remove if you want to polish your wheels.
I'll be attempting to polish all four during my upcoming vacation ! Good thing i only have to remove the clear on two wheels !

I WILL be grinding off the Made in China embossment... lol

+1.

I love them. Unless you are Harvey Weidman you will not be able to tell the difference.
