OK, I'll ask the obvious question - obvious to those of us who drive neither a cab nor a targa: What does the "C.R.A.P." and "T.U.R.D." acronyms actually stand for.

There seems to be an effort to be funny by so much repetition of the acronym, but no spelling it out.

BTW, the search engine doesn't work for "C.R.A.P." - I tried, and it shows no matches.

You may need some S.H.I.T. before you are C.R.A.P. material, :p

You can keep your C.R.A.P. we Targa owners are proud of our T.U.R.D. :)

(Targa Unified Racing Development) for dw1

We have no need for ass igning member numbers. (Typo? Maybe, maybe not.)

We are a collective and you will be assimilated. I see a few of you have already added roll bars. Resistance is futile. :)

Dear Crapster's.....

I am having a copy made of my venerable but worn bikini cover top that I've had for ten years....but I going a step further. I'm having it made out of Stay Fast double thick marine canvass. Any color you want as long as it's black.

I have the specs and such in the used parts section....the first one will be done next week and I will post pics. It seriously saves my expensive top from excessive ultraviolet and prying eyes when I don't feel like putting the top up...

Gee, thanks for skipping me (look upthread). You really do get C.R.A.P. out of this.

Sorry you should have gotten CRAP 14 but instead you now have CRAP 23. I would move them all but once the CRAP hits the rotary osciillator there is no turning back.

gsmith660 05-18-2009 02:51 AM

We are into some serious C.R.A.P. now, we have had a veritable C.R.A.P explosion here. woo hoo!

gsmith660 05-18-2009 02:54 AM

You should take a look at this it a real T.U.R.D literally. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsche-911-1976-PORSCHE-TARGA_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a317Q7c66Q3a 2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a0Q7c293Q 3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZite m3ef49edf83QQitemZ270392024963QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTru cks
