Bright Idea-Targa Dome Light

Hi all, I just wanted to share a change I made to my dome light this weekend. First the light only worked with the switch on, not with the doors. I chased ground wires everywhere, everything was in order. Turns out the wires were connected to the light wrong.

With that fixed so I wondered if the glove box light was wrong too. It wasn't but turns out the glove box light can be switched to pin at the glove box. I didn't need that feature and instead decided to pig tail to the ground from the passenger door. Now the glove box light also comes on when either of the doors are open. Much more light since us Targa owners have limited light with the dome light so far behind us.

Easy useful modification if anyone's interested!

Neat I'm going to try this in my Coupe. I never have enough light either!
