can't get the targa cover off

Hey all. I've removed the two 10mm nuts under each fender, and all the screws (missed the lower ones first try), but still can't get the cover off. It seems like ti wants to come off, but won't let go. Under the fender there are two smaLL (8mm) nuts. Do these have to come off too? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Jamie

Have you seen this thread?

Removing the targa bar?

Might be stuck to the seals, tapping with a small piece of wood might help it release.

No, I hadn't seen that one, thx. It confirms that I have everything removed (edit, I counted the screw holes , so I'm sure I have them all). I guess a little pressure from underneath on the studs with a board might help? I can't find anywhere to bump or pry without bending the cover...
