G50 Transmission questions.
First of all I need some help. How do you disassembly the g50 correctly? Cant figure out how to ake out that shaft and how to take off the differential housing. Got the differential out and all the bolts out and it split about a 1/4 of a inch but wont come out and I think it is because of the shaft. Pics would be great!!
Also does a LSD differential from a 87' G50 fit in a 964 Tranny? |

Dont understand what part of the trans your having trouble with. Are you trying to get the motor off the trans?
As for the LSD they can work in 2wd 87-98 g50's but I do not know if they work in the 4wheel drive transmissions. Also check if you need the speedo counter on the diff. |

Im trying to take the tranny apart and I cant get past getting the differential housing off where it splits because it looks like the shaft that goes into the engine is holding it.
