Starting up my car after 10 month lay off

I have 3.2 equipped back dated 911. I haven't driven the car for 10 months! Sad but true...

Anyway is there anything I should do when starting the car up?

I was thinking about disconnecting the fuel pump, cranking it over to build oil pressure and get oil around the engine. I would then reconnect the pump and fire it up... then go and get some fresh fuel.

Any tips? Or have I got it covered??

you can just pull you coil wire too. Did you put stabil in the fuel when you put it up. You'll probably want to drain and replace the oil also before starting. Thats what i would do if it was my car.

Thanks for the tips.. the thing is my car had a oil change only 700 miles ago and that was just before I garaged it.

Hmmnn... I need to replace the oil pipes so was hoping to do the oil change then.
