Don't know. I did want to try the upload, however. Nice feature.

Steve McQueen as "Micheal Delaney" in the film "Le Mans" (1971).

The scene is after Delaney's first stint at the wheel of Gulf Porsche No 20. Its started raining and he is back in the team caravan, thoughtfully sipping his coffee.

Do I win $1000 Pelican voucher?

Haha, Roland has now become Captain Obvious, master of the completely obvious to everyone including the moronic honda owners.

I am guessing it was either a 550 or a 356 that was his favorite ca...looks like a speedster fan to me.

The prize goes to rogERK, who correctly identified the movie, the character, the actor *and* the scene.

Now, he has way too much free time to be watching this movie 50 times. Get a life rogERK!

Yeah, I remember that guy. He use to ride bikes out in the desert with my Uncle. They spent most of their time smoking dope, drinking tequila, and looking for extraterrestrials. Sad part about is R. Blake would show up occasionally. He hasn't changed. I'm 44 now, must have been around 6 then. The brand new marroon 911S my Unc drove is embedded in my mine like it was yesterday. Was that man in the Great Esacpe?

Hello

I think his 1955 Jaguar XKE was his favorite. he used it daily up to the 60īs and bought it back later starting to restore it with his oen hands.

In his last movie he was just a unknown motorcycle stuntdriver.

Alas, its true!

I don't have much of a life, and yes... I've watched that film (one of the worst ever made for general audiences) about 50 times, possibly more.

Roland, your information is slightly wrong -
Steve's car was in fact a 1957 XKSS :-
