marelli rotor questions
hello
Have a 70T with the marelli dizzy , i was wondering if anyone has a rotor for the 70T i have a 69 marelli rotor that installs but quickly noticed that the cap was to high and the rotor was not making contact inside with the cap contacts about 1/2 inch to short was the 70 rotor taller rotor then the 69 rotor , also does anyone have a rotor or know where i can get one thanks |
Parts for these are few and far between. Sorry my response doesn't answer your question, but I wanted to suggest that you start a search in ernest for the Bosch replacement.

I have an early 2.0 motor that was rebuilt to "S" specs, I found an early Bosch dizzy that worked on eBay. I would ditch the Marelli.
Mine is in a 914/6. |

find a 2.7 unit, disassemble and machine down to the dimensions of the early unit.
