Seat belt brackets that arent $100 each

Installing aftermarket bride seats in my 911. And i found only one person making aftermarket seatbelt buckle brackets online... from pelican.... for $100 each.... can anyone point me in the direction of someone that isnt scamming the community on cost.

What's a bride seat?

The 911 was produced from '64-'89.

If you count later iterations such as the 964, 993, 996, 997 etc,,, 60 some years.

Narrowing it down might help.

1987 911 bride is a high end japanese racing seat. Equal to that of recaro, corbeau, etc.

This is the only thing available on the market. $111 for one bracket when 2 are almost always needed is a literal scam.

Is race anything cheap? Then you want it in a Porsche? Seems cheap in comparison. The brackets that hold the stock seat belt receiver are sometimes priced at 200 for used and they are not custom or race anything. They just hold the receiver in place.

It’s not a scam when you have a choice to buy or not. For every person who thinks it’s overpriced, there are people who are grateful someone is making the parts and offering them for sale.

The nice thing about that bracket is that the mounting holes (three holes on the bottom) will align w/ the hole pattern retaining the seat to the reinforced body rail.

Too bad the cost is a disappointment to the OP.

IMO, this is a required safety item. Pay the piper.

Well after being a strictly Porsche business owner and own multiple Porsche’s myself I will say the only thing cheap about a Porsche is THE OWNER 😂😂
