24 hr Daytona Stream????

I know this is probably off topic for this section, but anyone know of an online stream to watch the Rolex 24 during the night. I swear years ago Speedvision used to show all 24hrs.....maybe i'm wrong. Anyhow......I really want to watch NOW and can't wait for 7am.

PS Go Brumos

I was hoping for the same thing; found nothing. Yeah SV did broadcast the entire race, now they have to show the 2009 Craftsman Inaugural Truck race in its place.
LeMans also gets chopped, I only saw the complete race once on SV.

thats what I thought. I remember when I was in college up in CT. watching what I thought was "most" of the race through the middle of the night....but then again I was in college and chances are I was drinking.
Yup. I looked as well and found nothing. The Grand Am website has a real time position timing and scoring chart. Thats it.

I remember when Daytona 24 was the start of the racing season for "sports car" racing, now it seems to be Sebring.
I don't get why two separate "prototype" classes had to be created??
For me LM series has more diversity marque wise. There doesn't seem to be any DP races in Europe.

GrandAm is a NASCAR product...how else would J.C. France get a ride?

ALMS evolved from IMSA

I also wish that there was one really good series like back in the '70's and '80's. Now it's totally about money, and I doubt that these two sanctioning bodies will ever merge, which is a shame.

If Brumos wins, is it really a Porsche win? Yes the engine survived, but isn't it a combination of engine/chassis to be a marque win?

I tried watching the first few hours on Fox and then on SpeedTV and I just don't get it. I know they are trying to keep costs down by limiting the number of chassis' but it's just like NASCAR and NASCAR knows nothing about roadracing, plain and simple.
It's like you're watching the race from space, the audio sucks......you don't get that race sound.
I wish they would just bury this race and have a "24 hours of Sebring" instead.

It is a spec one built for the series, just like the other makes do. I've been to the race shop (the one in Jax) and seen these up close and disassembled.

I'm pretty sure everyone runs one of the "spec" chassis, remember, it use to be Brumos/Fabcar. I don't know of anyone who runs a "complete" unit, but I don't really pay much attention to the DP cars, too ugly to look at for any length of time. Just one more nascrap rub

Write big checks, plus there are other things to consider, Brumos is just up the road remember

I guess i'm in the minority. I don't mind watching the DP stuff at all. Sure i'd like to see racing like it was "in the old days" but.....I don't know, i'm just biased I guess. I, like Byron, know some Brumos guys so I feel like I have some loyalty to whatever they do.

Your right Byron! I was so excited about the win that I hadn't even thought about that aspect yet. I guess I should e-mail and see if there might be some interest.
