When I floor the throttle on my 85 Carrera it dose not quite open all the way.
I assume the adjustment is at the rod from the pedal. I can feel down in there and it feels like there is a stop to keep me from pulling the linkage off the ball under the floor board. How do I get it off to adjust the length or is there some other way?

There is also some adjustment that can be made at the linkage coming out of the transmission underneath the car.

Not sure about an adjustment at the pedal. I adjusted mine at the transmission. There is a bell crank there and the rods are threaded. You may have to remove a tiny clip on the ball to separate. Ken

you can also adjust the linkage between the bellcrank on the top of the engine and the throttle body. Pop off the ball joint at the throttle butterfly then remove it from the bellcrank. Adjust the threaded ends and pop it back on.
