911sc window not staying in track

trying to get the drivers power window working correctly........the window goes up and down fine but won't stay in the rubber track that holds the bottom of the glass in......is there a rivet or something that holds it in there????

kind of hard to see

thanks in advance

I beleive the glass is bonded to the rubber by adhesive. The rubber looked like it was pressed into the metal frame on the track. I had mine out a while ago and couldnt see any other method for securing the glass to the track. Its not that hard to pull the door panels.

I agree. Had the same issue with another type of vehicle recently. Use the adhesive sparingly, or it could get messy or become a bigger problem down the road if you ever need to repair the window frame.

I used Urathane glue.

I used thinners to get the glass really clean so the urathane glue sticks. It's quite strong glue and not brittle - good luck :)
