My 964 RS Replica

I am building a 964 RS replica. I have all the prts to complete with a vario ram 3.4 with Motec, Turbo suspension with Coilovers . I just got finished scraping the under coating, media blasting and painting. going to enjoy putting on the candy.

Looking very good.

Could you please post a couple of close up pics of the bracing around the rear shock towers?

Thanks!

Wow, please tell us more about the shock towers (front & rear), as well as the cage; did you do the fab also? Put your location in your onscreen info, you're going to be hounded by people wanting to know where you are.

In the last year, I've gone from not too much of a fan of the 964 Porsche to absolutley loving the 964RSs. I cannot wait to see the progress on this can. What did it start out as?

what kind of suspension? obviously you chose the 911 chassis (964 chassis must be much more expensive, and fewer suspension parts available, perhaps)

I am using a 74 tub . The suspension is off of an 87 930 turbo and will use coil over shocks . I am also using front and rear camber boxes from Smart Racing Products. The rear camber boxes modify the torsion bar tube to mate with the turbo rear control arms. I brought the roll cage into the upper shock tower and added the RSR style reinforcements to strengthn for the coil overs

I was hoping to be the first one for that.. I have been stock piling parts for over a year now. trying to get the right parts so it's a dead nuts replica! I am going with a RS/Clubsport though.... I'll have one soon enough of my own.... Glad to see someone loves the Euro 964RS as much as I do.. the 73 RS and R even the RSR are great 911's but they are NOT the say all end all .. the 964 is a GREAT car and the Euro RS is maybe well it IS my favorite 911..

Good luck!!

Vario ram 3.4? Is that a typo or are you building something to your own spec?
