For as far as I know my 1985 911 carrera coupe is completely original. The only thing I'm not sure of, is the tire inflator (compressor).
It's an orange compressor made by bayr. druckgusswerke (BDW). Is this the factory compressor or some aftermarket item? Does somebody have a picture of the factory item? Thanks, - Kees. ![]() |

The descritpion fits the std compresor of the era. An orange compressor with the tubing fitting inside a recess at one end.
Bayerische Druckgusswerke was the supplier for the factory for a long time. GeorgeK |

I also have the same compressor you have described in my car which is a 1989 carrera sport. The car was imported from Germany by me, and I was also unsure as to whether it was original equipment or not.

Does anyone have a picture of how a porsche tire inflator is placed or stored in an early 911. I have a 75 Carrera and i was wondering where it goes exactly. Does anyone have a picture? Thanks

That is the compressor that was issued with my '83 as well, the bayr. druckgusswerke (BDW).
Does anyone have a spare manual for this compressor? Regards, mlfox |
