Targas and Coupes do get along!

Some photos from a romp into the North Cascades today, Rich's 66 runs and looks incredible!
My 72 seemed to keep up OK too.

Hmm, I've got a few more but the site now says the files are too big.
Do I need to resize the ones I posted??

When it says images must be less than 2 MB in size, is that all the images together?

Beautiful cars and beautiful scenery. I also do a lot of runs with my 72 targa and my friend's highly modified 72 go-kart coupe (2.7L engine with solex cams, webers, etc.). It would be stretch to say that I keep up though my targa drives really tight.....

Nice, fantastic shots, the dream stable was always a Longhood Kelly Green Targa and a Longhood Tangerine Coupe, Early Targa's are great cars!!

This run started out as an old 911/fall color photo-op. You’d think mid-October would high time for fall color in the North Cascades…you’d be wrong. There’s more color in my yard than up there. Maybe, like me, the trees are trying to hold on to summer for as long as possible. On the up side, the lack of color was more than made for by the lack of traffic. We had a blast! It was 250 miles of flat-6 fun. That was my first trip up hwy 20 when it wasn’t summer and those roads really come alive when it’s just 2 old 911’s. There were a few other vehicles, but amazingly enough, the majority actually pulled over to let us by…I know, who were these thoughtful people? We got some great videos of the cars, at speed, doing tunnels and deserted roads too. I'll post some as soon as I learn to use You Tube.

Now thats a good combo! I think with the title of the thread you should be required to post both a targa and a coupe in the same shot!
