Porsche offers oem heat backdate piece for carreras?
930-106-321-02-OEM
Search it in the parts index, is this a backdated heat duct for the left side of the engine?

Yes, that is the left side. I have that on my SC (along with the rest of the back-date pieces) I believe it works with the Carreras as well.
