Plating Weber Carb Parts

I've taking some stuff to the platers and was wondering if I can plate my Weber carb parts. Obviously I can do all the linkages, springs, and nuts but what about jets, screws, tubes, plugs etc?

Should everything be yellow/gold cad?

You can ask Bieker what they normally send out during a rebuild. The short answer is yes, it should be gold. I also believe all of the cross linkage should be same. He can give you a list of the parts he normally sends out.

It seem Bieker puts gold zinc on everything even the brass parts.

No to the jets and emulsion tubes - these have very precise machinings and flow patterns - you don't want to mess them up. As for the jet holders and float bowl plugs, why not polish them?

The steel parts like the air adjuster and idle screw are fine to be plated.

Regards,
Andrew M
