Thinking of making "Carrera" T-shirts; any interest?
I'm thinking of making some T-shirts and was wondering how many to make . Are any of you all interested in them?
Still picking colors but definitely white with blue, white with red, orange with black and blue with silver/grey to match my car. Maybe viper green with black too? Other ideas for colors? Here's a proof: ![]() Thanks! Derek

The orange one is great but I hope you've gotten permission from Porsche's lawyers to do this, the CARRERA logo might still be copyrighted.

I'm in for an orange and black one ("Carrera" script) if the copyright police don't stop you...

A lot of people have been making the Carrera decals for a while now so I'd be surprised if it is a problem. I'm no expert on the matter though.

The lawyers were in touch with a Porsche tech here who was using the script. I would tread very carefully...

Looks good. I'd be interested. You may want to run spell check on your shirt though.

Hahahaha those dimwits. I sent them the artwork and they managed to mess it up. I'll have to mention that to them.

Using the Porsche/Carrera Script or Logo is dangerous as you are attempting to produce a product and offer it for sale/profit even if you have no intent to make a profit. If I was a Porsche lawyer my job would be to protect my company. They are not the "bad guys" here, they are doing their jobs and preventing people, even though well meaning, from stealing from their company.
Carrera/Porsche are Trademarks and are legally protected. A Trademark is a word, name, logo, design or phrase that distinguishes a specific product in the marketplace. Even use of the Carrera word with that specific font can be considered infringement on the Trademark and subject to litigation by the Porsche Company. Be very, very careful here. Seriously! Sorry to throw a blanket on your fire. Good luck. P.S. I am not a lawyer, but I was a publisher for a while and I could tell you stories you would not believe...you must be very cautious. The best thing to do is call or write Porsche and get something in writing. Jerry

Any chance of making a long sleeve version as well? Some of us live in colder climates ![]() I don't know where you are getting them made but I've used this place before and they did an awesome job - http://www.customink.com/ |

So, the general consensus is that this exposes me to too much legal risk if I produce and market these thus. Am I still at risk if I make some for my personal use instead? I feel like this dialogue might be better continued off the forum so feel free to contact me via email at psportoveloceATcomcastDOTnet if you don't wish to correspond on the forum.
