				996 wheels on a '77 911?

			I searched but didn't find an answer. Will 996 wheels fit a '77 911 ? | ||

			That would be pretty hard to do. You would need spacers but I think the biggest problem would be the smaller than SC/Carrera flares in the rear.

			It is a '77 Carrera so it has the SC fenders. I just wasn't sure about the bolt pattern.

			Sorry about that. The bolt pattern is the same. Do you know the offsets of the wheels? If so, you can calculate the size of spacer needed. Probably close to 1 inch on front and 2.5 or 3 inch in the rear.

			It can be done, but you'll need big spacers. There are also 996 clone wheels that have been created with the proper offset that will bolt right on. I see them on Ebay all the time.
