Window seal replacement questions
 

We had some rain this weekend, and I noticed that the rear window is leaking a little in the bottom corners on my SC. If is drop the $90 for a new seal, how hard will it be for me to replace it myself? Can 2 people with 4 hands, no tools, and 4 brain cells figure it out? What other items will I need? Some kind of caulking? Silicon or not? Any advice, suggestions will be appreciated.

The easiest way to replace a window seal is to get some nylon cord and place it in the channel that fits over the body, completely surrounding the window, then put it in place.

You may need to get it started with a screw driver, put tape on the tip so you don't harm the rubber at all.

While one person pushes (lightly) on the outside, another is inside pulling the cord at a 90 deg angle, to pull the rubber over the lip of the body.

Pretty easy to do, but you must be careful not to rip the rubber. Use a rubber safe lubicant to ease the way. (funny as it is KY works great and won't harm the rubber at all and cleans up with water)
