removing mold release from new rubber parts (waxy or powdery)

does anyone know the best way to remove the mold release agents from new rubber parts. there seems to be two varieties, either a waxy coating or a talcum like powder. I'm sure a solvent would work but I don't want to dry out brand new (expensive) german rubber.

I'm sure the powdery stuff goes away with dressing of your choice. Glycerin comes to mind. I haven't seen any "waxy."

I throw new seals in the sink. I scrub them down with scotchbrite lubed up with plenty of dish soap. Works like a charm.

Wurth rubber care seems to be a good product to avoid the drying out.

While my wife is at work I just throw them in the washing machine with a couple of pairs of jeans and they come out clean.

Never tried this, but I heard that you can boil them in water on the stove?
