Talking 911 tire questions

I have a 1977 911S and I want to put new tires on. The car right now has Yokohama 205/55ZR16's on the front and Sumitomo 205/50ZR16's on the rear. I want to go back to new Yokohama 255/55ZR16's on the front, but I would like to go to Yokohama 225/50ZR16's on the rear. The tires on the car now are on 16X7 Fuchs wheels. Will the 225/50ZR16's fit without rubbing on the inside of the fender well? Can any one help me in this matter?
Charlie

Here is a link to a good tire size calculator that I used when I was selecting tires. I took a ruler to the tires that were on the car and the fenders to estimate how much room I had to work with. Good luck!
