Lug nut seat angle

Looking for non-capped lug nuts for the track. I dont like the capped ones, much easier to visually inspect normal nuts in a walk-around.

1.5MM threadpitch and 13mm, correct? Is the seat angle 45 or 60? 16" Fuch wheels...

thanks

14mmx1.5 and they are spherical, not conical. You can get them from VW dealers too cheap. Good luck. If you were't so far, I'd send a set over to you...must be tough finding P-car oparts in OZ

Mate its rough. I'm asking now because I'm trying to finish off a set of Pelican/Hargett/Summit orders. Shipping and taxes plus a 30% currency devaluation in 4 months is a killer.

The currency devaluation is the worst part...they add "import duty" to anything over A$1000 including shipping. So when the currency devalues, order that used to be under the limit are now subject to duty. Plus the $150 processing fee, plus the 20% duty...and thats after taking 40% in taxes from your paycheck...

Ouch! I've been tracking your project, and I give props to you for all the work...esp. with the difficulties with getting parts. But you Aussies are resourceful...I can't wait to see the finished project. Best of luck.

Thanks Souk. I'm a transplanted New Englander, thats where the resourcefulness/naive blundering ahead against the odds comes from! Love the sig...I havent been home in 3 years...I'd kill for a Harpoon IPA or a Sierra Nevada!

I went to my local VW dealer here in Sweden and ordered wheel nuts for a Transporter 89-92. They fit nicely on my SC

The parts nr. seems to be the N 0201121.
Hope this might help you.

More thanks for that part number. I have been wanting to do this to my DE car also, but was apparently too lazy to even ask the question.

I just ordered a set from a VW parts site. Paid $1.83 per nut, which seems reasonable enough.

Yep, thats a "radius" and not an "angle" on that lug nut.
