Think of it this way... You drive a Porsche and the idiot that did that probably never will.

It's only paint... She'll be back to her old self before you know it.

I feel your pain. The 91 got it on the pass door recently. No note, no nothing. O-well, I figure karma is a pain.

Perhaps you will find some pre-cancerous growth under it all and it will end up being a good thing. Sorry, I can't think of anything else positive to say, except that the idiot that did it probably was totally oblivious and still doesn't know what they did.

No security cameras in the area?

Someone recently put their shoe up on the nose of the Boxster I guess to tie the laces. If not to tie the laces, then they just deliberately scuffed the paint thru the color. Sorry to see your damage. Oh, and it was run into a few months ago just like yours. You must be in the same club as me now. People suck, don't they?

That is a bummer. Thankfully the top levels of the parking ramp at work are usually pretty empty so I park as far away from other people and haven't had a problem yet. Hopefully it can be repaired without too much trouble.

It took one of those to teach my wife to never take the closest parking spot. That's why they made the back side of the parking lot.

Your car used to be sooooo mint too. One of my favorite turbo-looks ever.

It's ok, at least it isn't bashed to hell.

I feel so sorry for the person who did that, because not leaving a note gives you such
a terrible karma. I am concerned about his/her health and/or family!

Leaving a note doesn't always work. I remember hearing a story of somebody who came back to their dented car and found a note under the wiper blade. It read, "The people who are in the parking lot watching me write this note probably think I'm a real nice guy, but I'm not. Sorry for the dent, but I'm outa here."

Interesting concept. Would a note also be justified on a Geo Metro, a Dodge Neon, Subaru, or XYZ brand of cheap asss commuter car?.

that far forward on the fender, I highly doubt it was a door ding or car parking misjudgement.

A runaway shopping cart perhaps, but not a door ding.

but still, yeah that sucks. BUT still better than getting your car totaled in a head on wreck and 6 months of hospital bills. I'd take the scratched paint myself over the other. count your blessing it's only paint and you don't have to replace the fender or get your car totaled by insurance.

Spence, that would have never happened if you had a humble SC. It would have missed by 30mm.

Good luck getting it fixed. Maybe do a cut and polish on the area first to see what it looks like after their white paint is gone.
