Attaching Tarett Front Sway Bar U-Brackets
Folks,
I'm stocked up on parts and doing some final research as I prepare for some major suspension upgrades. I have a Tarett front sway bar that I plan to install. The drop links attach to a U bracket that you weld or bolt to the A-arm. Does anyone have any info on where/how you position U bracket in relation to the A-arm? Pictures would be a huge plus. Thanks, Gordo |
Gordo -
I thought I had a photo of this, but couldn't find it in my library. I welded the "U" tabs on so that the thru-bolt runs front-to-back. Does that make sense? If no one else posts photos, I can take some of my car for you. Tom |
I've got a set of these Tarett brackets. With them cam a sheet of paper showing the install location/dimensions. I can scan it when I get home if someone else doesn't produce the information before me.

Tarett U-Bracket Location
Thanks, the pics are very helpful.
KTL, PM'd you; appreciate if you could scan and send a me copy. The installation instructions that I have, don't provide any reference to the attachment location. I would like to attach the brackets and send the A-arm off for powder coating (exactly like surflvr911sc did), but need to know if I need to do a partial install of the sway bar to allow me to mark the location for the brackets before I remove the A-arms. I like the air deflectors, are those off of a 964? Thanks, Richard

A bit off topic but I think he has his u-tab question answered.
