The SAW site, http://swayaway.com/TorsionBars_2.php#PORSCHE, says that "1822" is solid and that "1822T" is tubular. But I've heard/read about people selling bars marked "1822" that they say are hollow.
Does anybody know what is going on here? Is this a matter of SAW changing their p/n system?

I have hollow 23mm front and 31mm rear SwayAway torsion bars on my car. Made both ways. The "23" is the effective size, actual diameter is larger than that. (31's coming out this weekend to replace with Sanders 33's).

So does your hollow 23mm front bar have an "1823" or "1823T" on it?

I don't know what's on the bars, but I still have the box that the rears came in and the part number is 1131T, and it says "32mm bar, 31mm effective."
So the nomenclature indicates T for Tubular.
