I just bought my first Porsche four months ago. It's a great car and runs like the wind. It's a 1988 Carrara with a 3.2. However, it has a new GHL exhaust system that is a little to loud for the longer trips. Is there any way to reduce the loudness or do I just have to replace the muffler. The new system has new HE and muffler. Thanks for the help!

If the muffler is a two out setup, a single outlet will quiet it down. Aftermarket is usually going to be louder. I'll bet you dollars to donuts your setup is a lot quieter than mine.

I'll trade you my stock exhaust for yours. Mines too quiet. It's an '86 with the same 3.2, but I haven't a clue how to pull it out. Can you provide any more info than GHL? If it sounds good, I'd like to pursue it even if it's not yours... Is it still one out or two?
