ID this part (bushing?)

I am working verry slowly on my winter projects.
Today I removed the R-side intake manifold, and found some flotsam around the crankcase breather. It looks like a plastic cable clamp, 1 small nut, and a mystery bushing. Anybody have an idea what the bushing was for? It's maybe 1/2 in long and in diameter, with one side beveled. (Haven't checked the throttle bell crank hw yet.

Not sure whether I should be glad that I found these or not (evidence of actual maintenance or sloppy work).

I am glad I am getting "in there" because I'm learning the car, saving some dough, and found one broken throttle spring.

Thanks

Cable clamp is split at the top... I replaced all mine with the metal loop covered in rubber type. If the nut is 6mm its probably dropped from the breather cover. If it is 8mm could have been dropped when a valve adj. was done and never fished out. Once stuff falls in there its like a black hole I have no idea what that bearing thing is from... I think its too big to be a dowel sleeve... *shrug*

Thanks Mike - I pretty much id'es the clamp and the nut, but the bushing bugs me a little. Guess I'll find out when I get into it more.

I just rebuilt my engine and nothing like that was in it Except the sleeves and I think it is too big for those, plus those are at the case mating faces so its not like they would get loose... so I'm pretty sure its not part of any internal engine parts.

I am not that familiar with the motronic 3.2 intake so no comment there.

Do you have a rear wiper? Maybe it came out of that setup on some earlier maint.?

Best regards,

Michael
