I love a good carburetor setup....... I hate what modern gas does to them...........

He will probably need to find a way to duct hot air to the intake runners. Otherwise, the fuel will drop out of suspension in the air. Otherwise, looking good!

Very cool. I thought this was going to be another one of those backdate threads.

Very cool project. There used to be a kit you could buy that did that - put a 4 bbl on top of the intake runners. It wasn't very popular because it didn't run very well. It will be interesting to hear how yours turns out.

Hot rod? Maybe if it used a tunnel ram shooting up through the rear lid. This is more “use what ya got...”

There have been threads on this setup before. IIRC it didn't work too well.

However, it does work on a Corvair.

Doesn't work on a corvair. We put a Carter afb on a crown intake on my friend's 140. It would ice up in less than 20 minutes on a 60 degree evening. Gonna be just as bad on the 911

What does that have to do with anything? Now if he chromed everything, placed the four corners on airbags and hydraulics, and replaced the rims with chrome wires with pointy hubs, it might be a little more location specific.

Farmers racing(If I remember correctly) has done this in racecars successfully. I want to try FItech's six pack in a similar way

Thanks for all the comments. Very interesting. The only location relevance is perhaps Rgruppe...
