Coupe doors compatible with a Targa?

Can I fit '88 coupe doors to my Targa, assuming both sets of doors are complete? I realize that some work would be required to convert the framed side glass to the unframed Targa glass, but what else is involved?

For most years the door shells are the same for a Targa or coupe.
The differences are the windows, frames & mechanicals inside.
The 88 coupe door shell will accept 84 to 89 Targa internals, perhaps 78 to 83 SC as well.
You can swap everything over, it just takes time and care.
