Ques. on refitting a 380mm 914 wheel to a 73 911

I am considering swapping my orig steering wheel for a 380mm 914 wheel and had a number of (basic) questions:

1. Can a std wheel be "built-up" to have a wheel thickness replicating the RS wheels? If so, how is this accomplished?

2. What mods are required to fit it on the existing hub? Turn signal cancellation ring? Other?

3. How much would one expect to pay to make the above mods?

4. To whom should I send it for these mods?

5. Can I use my orig butterfly on the 380mm wheel?

Thanks!

...Roger

Any wheel can be widened.....as to using a 914 wheel, most are 4x130 while 914/6 and 911 wheels are 5x130 lug patterns. The 914/6 used 911 wheels......14 x 5.5, 15 x 6 inch.

Perhaps my question was unclear... I was referring to steering wheels. Sorry for the confusion.

My bad....."I" read it wrong. The steering wheels have different splines.
