are crush rings needed for tranny plugs
I got my trnsmission fluid changed last fall and noticed he did not put new crush rings on the fill or dran plugs, I'm not sure if the even have them, but since it has been dripping fluid and prior to the fluid change it never leaked a drop. Do the plgs require crush rings like the oul plug does?

Tapered thread plug. No shoulder for a crush ring on them.
I have read here that some people use a small amount of Teflon tape on the last bit of thread on the plug (not the leading threads going in) plus a bit of anti seize. I just used some aluminum anti seize and had no drips.

Teflon tape x2... I use it on the gearboxes and engines of my VW Golf and Porsche. No drips here...

Just for completeness, the G50 needs crush washers. Unless my mind is playing tricks on me.
