Oil Leaks - PArt Numbers for Repairs

In a couple weeks, I will be doing a partial engine drop to be able to reach where the oil breather hoses attach so that I can replace them. One of them has already split, so I made a temporary fix. The other one is cracking, so I am going to go ahead and replace it too (both of these hoses already sourced from our host).

I have a couple of oil leaks that I will address while I have access to that side of the engine. I am struggling with trying to figure out of all the seals sold by our host, which ones do I nee to go ahead and replace "while I am in there" with access to the forward side of the engine. Can anyone help me identify the part numbers for the seals that I need. I know I will be addressing the oil breather cover seal, t-stat o-ring and oil pressure switch o-ring, but with the exception of the oil breather seal, there appears to be multiple options with product descriptions that might be what I need.

Any help narrowing down which ones I need would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Farrell

+1 on the items you mentioned except the oil pressure switch - I think the intent is to do the whole unit - i am not aware of any o-ring associated with it. The whole unit can be replaced for less than $10, and should include the crush washer. (911-606-230-00-M85)

Thanks Steely. Since this is my daily driver, I dont have the luxury of dropping the motor, assessing the situation and only ordering the items I need. I am thinking of ordering one of almost any seal that is on the forward side of the engine (none of them seem to be more than $3.00 each) just so I have every thing there whenthe project starts.

Farrell,

mine's not a dd, but I can't do a drop right now either. I did start removing the intake over the winter (I'm slow) to do the fuel lines - and I wound up aiming at the some of the same things you are after. (No way I could do seals tho').

I ordered these parts a few months ago for my '87, and I don't really recall having to decide between other flavors, so forgive me - I offer only one choice with no experience (yet).

crank case breather 930-107-791-02-M17
t-stat o-ring 999-707-314-40-M17 If there were 2, i think one color was better than the other - probably can go by co$t.

Things I learned/found:
The "pipeline" vac line from the airbox had a crack in it (repaired using vac line/hose).
The top of the Oil T-stat was unexpectedly covered with an engine harness - which may be brittle.
One of my throttle springs was completely busted.
My alternator -to-starter wire insulation is damaged to the point of needing replacement.

I am taking longer than I expected, but I think she'll run a lot better than I was initially expecting. I'm anxious. Good luck - and search here too, a lot of what i've imparted I gained from here - it's quite a library. (I'm just trying to pay it forward :-)
