WTB OEM Blaupunkt amp/speakers

Guys,

I'm a newbie with an '88 Cab. I'm looking to change the aftermarket stereo that came with the car back to stock. I have already sourced the Blaupunkt Reno head unit, but I still need a working OEM amp for under the passenger seat as well as the OEM door speakers and grilles. As I said, this is an '88, so the doors have two speakers each -- a woofer/mid range and a tweeter.

If anyone has these items lying around and would like to sell them , please let me know.

Do you have the part number for the amp? I have a working amp that came out of my '86.5 928 and it may be the same unit. Blaupunkt BQB-80 or something like that, if I recall.

It's BQA-80. I may have found one, but not certain yet so let me know.

If you don't find one I may have one laying around in a box. I just changed mine out for a later model 996 unit.

Scott,

When you upgraded your amp, I asume you also upgraded your speakers? If you have your OEM speakers lying around in a box, please let me know.

Thanks. I figured that out after I posted it here (I went ahead and posted there as well after the fact). Like I said, I'm a newbie and didn't initially realize there was a parts forum. FWIW, I have received more replies here.

Sorry John,

The original owner lived in Fresno and though the dry weather was great for corrosion it fried not only the speakes but the original grills were dust as well.

I have the little amp that lived under the floorboard (passenger) Blaupunkt in a box somewhere. I'm happy to get it a new home if necessary. I can't bring myself to throw away the oem stuff.

I also have the am/fm cass deck in pieces knobs and all should someone wish them. The cassette deck was inop. at removal.

BTW I got a custom harness from Stephan at SW Stereo and installed a 996 Porsche/Becker CDR-220 that I'm very pleased with. Stephan provided an IPOD jack routed where the old CD stacker would have plugged in and I'm beside myself!
