Fan shroud colors
On a 73 2.4 911T was the factory color of the fan shroud green?
What were the correct fan shroud colors for a 911S, 911T and 911E? Did the fan shroud color signify the engine type from the factory? Thanks for any comments |

On the 2.4 MFI engines, T was yellow, E was green and S was red.
On 2.7 CIS engines I have seen green. Black ? Later years lots of red.

Thanks for the info.
I have a 73T 2.4 that was originaly a CIS. It was converted by PMO in california in 1977 to webers and now has a sticker from PMO starting it's a 2.4"s". Maybe it's an E motor with carbs? Could that have been there version of a frankenstein interpretation of "s"? It has a green shroud. |
