EdgeRacing is No More... Where another place for Track Tires?
I'd been buying tires from edgeracing.com, good service and not expensive. They are apparently out of business now.
Other than Tire Rack, where do people get their black & stickies?? *sorry about the bad grammar in the title. oops. |

What kind/brand tires? The RA 1's come from AZ, I thought, with the best price. Jack O. will know about that.

I asked all my local tire guys (San Fernando Valley)...no one carries DOT racing anymore....at least not that I could find.
On a side note and from the posts title: It reminded me of the scene in Young Frankenstein where Gene Wilder says "Werewolf?" and Marty Feldman says "There wolf". :D |
At this point I'm looking at R888's or V700 Victoracers. I'll look through the suggested tire outlets here.

I buy Hoosiers from a local race shop I like to support.

I get mine at western tire in burbank, they will generally try to come close to their competitors prices and are nice guys.
|
I've also gotten tires from Discount Tire Direct, like Jeremy suggests. Free shipping. No tax. And there's an America's Tire (I think) in Northridge that'll mount them for $20 each. Though I'm sure you can find other places closer to home that'll mount/balance them for about the same price.

That's too bad about Edge Racing. I've had good service from them over the years. I found a post on the Grassroots Motorsports forum where someone from GRM had confirmed they were indeed out of business.
