My rubber has a dent in it!

Made you wonder,,, I bought the pieces that go between the front and rear bumpers and the body. When they arrived I laid them out and they have dents where they were folded. Any ideas how to fix this?

Lay out in the sun on a warm day and it should relax to its original molded shape with some minor massaging (use hands only).

I've used the "plate warmer" setting in my oven for something similar.
