83sc Front seats ?

Can you modify 2005 turbo front seats to fit into an 83 sc.......Not trying to build the next Space shuttle here so just wondering how difficult it would be. Thanks for any input.

No reason why not. You just need to build the appropriate adapters or brackets.
And hook up the power cables for the electric adjustment etc...

But just one thing. I'm not sure how good a 1983 SC would look with 2005 seats.
I've seen this done before.(Maybe not the exact same combination) But it alwasy looks a bit goofy.

Hope I didn't offend!

Non taken. Thanks I will keep that in mind. So I would be better to just stay within 78-89 seats?

I'm a fan of original cars... But there are other options.

You could get some period Recaros. These are from a MK3 Golf but they are the same shape as seats fitted to custom Porsches from the 80s. Companies like Gembala used them and Pioneer made a car called the Avalanche which also used them. (I think that car was built by Gembala)...

Anyway just a suggestion, at least it would be different.

Nice, I remember that car. Wonder where it is now? Currently looking at 91 sport seats and just got a post about some 83 leather seats. Think I am moving towards the period correct look, thanks for your input
