Value is largely determined by mileage, overall condition, leakdown tests, and whether it runs and how well, if it does.

Figure $1200-$3000.

all of which need to be documented to get the best price

I got $5,700 for a CIS 2.7L motor by doing that, but it was a few years ago -- prices are likely quite low now.

they didn't have S, E, or T in 73.5. CIS.

no - the 73.5 911T had CIS

OK, I see what I said that isn't correct. What I am pointing out is that a 73.5 CIS motor did not come in 3 versions. So, the question of what a 73.5 motor is, S, E or T, is moot.

Sorry 911T

I bought one last fall from a member for $600. It didn't have induction, fan, or exhaust. It was a bare longblock. But to my reckoning the crank and case are worth that much if building a motor for performance from scratch.

bought a 73.5 CIS engine from a PCA member and Pelican in 2005 for 2500 which included crating for shipment
