Can you put electric seats in an 83sc?

Want to put electric seats into my 83sc. Can this be done and if so how hard is it and what do I need to do it? Thanks for any help.

Can be easily done. They bolt right in, you just need to get 12V to them.

They are out of an 03. I will need to make adjustments to the bracket.......right? And do I need a adapter for the wiring harness?

yes, you were.

As far as the original poster, not sure about seats from an '03 bolting directly in. Somehow I doubt it, because the chassis are so drastically different, but I don't know. I assumed you were talking about 80s 911 electric seats.

I agree, I did that when I bought my car 5 years ago because my seats were in bad shape. I thought having electric would be a cool upgrade. Since installing them I have not moved them once. When I received them I was shocked how heavy they were.
I would stick with manual seats, live and learn.

If I could find a decent set of manual seats thats the way I would go, I have been looking for a month now and seems like all the seats are in so so condition or I just miss them or they are asking 1k for the set. I will keep this in mind but I need a place to sit in my car soon. So If any body has a good pair of seats feel free to send them to me.
