3 Photos showing Fuchs Cap polishing steps.
 
They started out as black with painted crests.

So, first I stripped the paint and they looked like this.

Just used a regular paint and varnish remover you brush on.


Then I realized they were anodized so I used Easy-off Oven Cleaner - Heavy Duty
and they turn out like this.

So I polished two,(Sanded with 400, 800 then 1500 then used Tripoli Compound then Jewelers Rouge) and realized that the other two were different; they didn't have holes like the first two I polished.

So I drilled the holes myself and finished polishing. Not I have to start the wheels! Any tips or can I expect the same process as the caps?

Don't drill any holes in the wheels. ;)

I went all the way to 2500 before I started polishing. Caps came out nice.
