Aftermarket Stainless Door Sills, Did Yours Require Modification?
So I bought the stainless steel Ebay door sills that people seem very happy with. My dilemma, the sills they sent are made to match the correct shape of a 911, and have a 90 degree lip bent into them, therefore the sills are laser straight, however, the door sills on my 911 are NOT laser straight! On both sides of the car the door sills taper inward slightly as the sill proceeds towards the rear of the car.
Were you able to expose the tape adhesive on your sills and stick them down and they mated up perfectly to your door sills?

Bad News
I tried to make some sill plates and learned that there is a slight curve to the door sill. If there is a ninety degree bend at the back it will not fit flush. I hope you can return them. By the way my car is a 1987 coupe
