help with converting from points to electronic ignition

I am trying to convert from points to an optically triggered ignition system. The one i got is from crane cam its a xr700 fireball. I am putting it in a 77 911 with a 2.7 engine, i also replaced the wires, cap, rotor and plugs while i am doing it. I am hoping someone here has done this also and can lead me in the right direction, i did everything the way the instruction say but i cant get any spark at the wires. well i am hoping someone has used this system here the guy at crane said this is a popular system any help would be great

I hope you have a 12V test light to troubleshoot the problem.
